Tara Ness

Dr. Tara Ness, MD, MPH-specializes in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) in global health. Dr. Ness completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital, focusing on global child health. During her residency, she spent a year in Eswatini, where she provided HIV care to children and their families. Following this, she obtained a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases, with her research focused on tuberculosis diagnostics. She currently is an Assistant Professor in the Global TB Program at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Childrens Hospital and Adjunct Faculty at University of Anchorage Alaska.
