I'm a Lakota descendant and mixed methods researcher. I have a PhD in Cultural Anthropology and have lived and worked with Indigenous peoples around the world for over a decade. I provided qualitative data analysis for the Alaska site on the firearm suicide prevention study among Alaska Native peoples (PI Julie E. Richards). I have family members that struggle with SI/SH, so this is an important area of focus for me because I want to understand the findings and implications from research to better help my friends and family.
