Nikola Nikolić is a first-year medical student at the University of Washington School of Medicine, pursuing a career dedicated to serving Alaska Native communities and advancing health equity. He holds a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master's degree in One Health from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Nikola's academic and professional journey has been deeply shaped by his commitment to addressing social determinants of health and improving healthcare accessibility in rural and Indigenous communities. As a future physician, Nikola is passionate about bridging clinical practice and public health, using both scientific and cultural knowledge to improve Alaska Native patient care. He is committed to returning to Alaska to practice medicine in underserved areas, continuing to advocate for holistic and equitable approaches to health and wellness.
